Graph theory is closely related to major thrust areas of current research in Discrete Mathematics with tremendous potential for applications in major fields such as computer science and engineering, communication networks, chemistry, electrical engineering and being widely used to solve variousreal-world problems. The aim of this Short Term Training Programme on "Graph Theory and its Applications" (STTP-2017) is to bring together the experts and the young researchers and provide a platform for discussion of recent advances in the relevant research areas of Graph Theory.It is hoped that these in-depth discussions and lectures by the invited speakers will motivate the young researchers to enter into some of the highly fertile-research arena.
